Editor talk (Welcome Term3)

Hi, glad to meet you. My name is Homme.c. I am the editor of this blog. I make this blog up because my IT teacher tell me to do the blog. In this web you will find some information about arts, arts and arts! With some reflection about arts Hope you enjoy this blog.

My school had open and this means the hardest term was open. Term 3 in art we have to do Negative space (I not so sure what dose it mean so can POC help me explaned what is negative space). Any way, On the April of 13 - 16 I had a good Songkarn Holiday, eveyone was wet and if anyone that were in Thailand, they will know how fun and wet it is so you can comment did you have fun on songkarn holiday.

Reflection# 10 (Finished/ Pics is Here)

Now, I go to look at other people works and I found out there were some back door picture (back stage) and they paint a light, a back door, and a bin. It make me decide to make like as other people but in my own idea. I still get other idea like at the side of the stage will be a poster of the show and the price of the ticket, it make me think that is was a good idea so I made a poster and the ticket price. After I build a stage it made me very happy because it looks good and it takes Lot's of time to do this (4 weeks). The picture will be in the next post so please comment on the stage, thanks!!

Reflection #8, 9 (Nealy Their)

I forgot to do last week so I will update what we are doing now.

We now start by bring in shoe box then we do paper mac he. After we covered all of the spot that we want, after the paper dry we paint all side of the shoe box. Now, there were some changing decision because it didn't like a scene so I made the seat look sandy and inside will have some blue color. The side and the back stage will look gray so it will look like the street. After I paint all over the stage, I start to make a back drop and I choose make a sea, tree, sand, grass, a house because if you read Adventure of Ulysses, you can make an image what Circe island look like. Now it look a lot better so next week will be the finishing part so another major reflection will be written on this website.

Reflection#7 (New task the Myths stage)

This week our teacher give us 4 weeks to plan and finished a Myths stage. I think that you will wonder for sure what is the myths stage I am taking about so let's carefully read the bottom paragraph.

My teacher told that you need to go back home and plan to make a stage out of a shoe box and it have to be about myths. Now this is what I planned, First what story and part what I want to do. I choose the adventure of Ulysses and the part that I choose is Circe. I choose this part because I tell that, even he have a wife already but after 10 years of battling at troy, he had a new wife or the second wife. The background will be half pink + half red. Pink will tell the love between Ulysses and Circe and red is for the power, power of getting back home to Ithaca and be the king. I try to tell the feeling weither you want Ulysses get back to Ithaca or stay with Circe.

After the a big coloring on Paul Klee arts work my teacher told that there will be some question and we need to answer it to get a good mark on the assignment, so I decide to answer all of the question and you'll see, how much is the question. Q2. Why did you use these images?

A2. I used these images because I want to communicate to people what I like and what is the topic of this art is.

Q3. What do they mean to you?

A3. These picture mean that It the thing that I want to do and I do already.

Q4.What do you think about this style of art?

A4. I think that is a weird style of art because usually I saw picture that don't have a graph inside the pictures but this one does.

Q5. What reasons can you give feeling this?

A5. I think that this art gives some feeling like warm and cold or comfortable.

Q6. Who is Paul Klee?

A6. Paul Klee is a person that made new kind of arts and the one that I were working is the abstract art and it was inspired by him.

Q7. How has his work influenced this art?

A7. His art had some line on and there were some color added on (at the left), and my one will look the same but just only the lines.

Evaluation

Q1. What is the process

A1. I think it's was OK but still hard to color. If I give myself 1-7 I give 4 because it still can see the pencil line and I didn't color all of the edge so we can see the white spot.

Q2. Compare your work to the other

A2. I think my picture is look OK after I compare to my friends but anyways my friend is always better at this kind of work.

Q3. Compare this art to other art that you've have done

A3. This one will one of the best picture that I have made because it's a big piece of art work and it take a lot of time to finish.

Q4. What do you think about the grade?

A4. I think is was fair but I just got only 11 but I can improve my grade by improving this blog.

Q5. What was successful/ How did you do that?

A5. I think is the down parts because this is the hard bit but I pass over it by paint for a long time.

Q6. What needs to be improve/ How could you improve it?

A6. I think it was the white edge and pencil line. I will improve the white edge by paint until we can't see white edge and for the pencil line there were 2 thing that be use to improve, 1. press the pencil line softer, 2. paint it until we can't see the pencil line.

PS: If my teacher don't give me better grade, I don't know what to do now because this is the longest reflection that I ever done in my blog.

Reflection#4+5 (More Colors)

Now, the reason that I make it 4+5 because on week 5, our art teacher goes to field trip and he won't came back till Friday, so that's why I put 4+5 on.

This week I finished coloring with yellow but, there still some decision that I need to change because I forget that the color will hit each other and make the picture look bad like normal yellow with light yellow. The hard part of this kind of picture is to make the pencil line disappear because if I use yellow it will see the pencil lines and even blue, we can see it. But any way my teacher told me that you've need to finish at 21/02/07 and he said that I can use the art room next week before he comes back from the trip. I work there with my friend and we forget the club because we were busy at working at the art piece. Anyways I've finished coloring about 40% percent already and next week I will ask my teacher that I can come and work more with this art piece in next week.

Reflection#3 (The yellow color)

We start with taking out of the planning sheet out from D.W. (Developing work) and I see that I didn't plan finish yet so I need to plan for more idea what kind of color to put on my art piece. When I done planning I start to color the real paper. I use yellow first because it's easy to see and I can be cover easily. This art piece of art is inspired by Pual Klee. I will tell you next, what color that I choose from my plan.
